A whole look at the project

Fitting, with the last day of the year 2016, I'm going to do a review to show you everything that changed since the first release of "zum Damenhaus", and pointing out the most important part of the particular updates.

Saturday, 21 May 2016 - version 1.1 was released, contained a whole re-code of the entire game, which brought a save feature, helping slaves at the bar and all floors to build rooms on.

Monday, 1 August 2016 - version 1.5 was released, made clients enjoy their drinks a bit more, because of some good servicing slaves and plantgirls (sexy animations at bar). Furthermore the game now saved up to 20 slaves, instead of the former 10.

Sunday, 9 October 2016 - version 1.8 was released, re-hauled the girl assigning function and made girls able to walk between rooms during the day. Additionally slaves and plantgirls could help Cassandra with her researching.
Plus a file was added into the game, which included knowledge of the persons and creatures, which could be found in the world of "zum Damenhaus".

Saturday, 24 December 2016 - version 2.0 was released, and said Merry Christmas, with a new face appearance for Amanda. Furthermore much smaller brothel rooms could be found along with more places to build rooms, day and night cycle, and rain effects, together with an overall, at least small, graphical embellishment.

I will continue working on this project, until it is done. Time will pass and there's only one direction: better than before! I dedicate a part of my life to this project and I'm gonna finish it as good as I can.

Patron version 2.0 released!

Hello and Merry Christmas, folks!,

I have a gift for you! You may call me the Porn Santa...

Updates:
  • Amanda's face appearance changed (and some body shapes) (*1)
  • Amanda's 'anal' animation recived a full work over
  • all brothel rooms have been re-sized to about 60% of their old width
  • added 10 more places to build brothel rooms, due to room size adjustments (*2)
  • day <-> night cycle; clouds; rain (*3)
  • embellished some graphics
  • zooming improved (it now zooms in 5 angles: whole brothel, 6 rooms, 4 rooms, 2 rooms, 1 room)
  • double clicking a room on which a client has been assigned to, will now directly zoom into the closest and best angle
  • a small version of Amanda's clipboard is now on your HUD; serving as an 'option screen'
  • brothel floors now need to be unlocked first, before you can use them for buying rooms
  • in game tutorial got some slight changes, mainly technical stuff
  • a Santa's sack full of small stuff!

Changes:
  • you can find the trivia file now in the new option menu

Bug fixes:
  • the program doesn't prevent you anymore from placing girls in the bar / animal show if your other rooms are full
  • there was a green frame around the bar, when assigning a slave, even when an other slave currently worked in the bar
  • the last client's statistic now appears in the result at the end of the day, since it was missing
  • it's not longer possible to assign Madeline somewhere else if a slave works with her on the bar. Go remove the slave first!
  • sometimes the game told that there were no rooms left, but there actually were

(all of these bugs are also fixed for the public 1.9 version!)

Hints:
  • letting the game run in a browser, while you are on a different tab in the same browser may cause issues, because frame rates will automatically drop
  • make sure that you allow flash to store data on your PC, since a bunch of game functions depend on that 
  • currently only the town and the forest are implemented for Amanda to explore. But many will follow (one for the next version for example :p )

(*1) Amanda's face appearance changed (and some body shapes):
Amanda put on some make up, so she actually looks quite different now. This applies to every image and animation she is currently visible on.

(*2) added 10 more places to build brothel rooms, due to room size adjustments:
I had two options: add more rooms or reduce the general width of the background. I chose the first one, because I like to see the client come from afar, when approaching the bar. Furthermore there is enough room to put extra buildings on the surface in the future.

(*3) day <-> night cycle; clouds; rain:
Weather doesn't effect game play and balance, but eventually will in the future.


You will hear from me soon on this blog, doing a review on everything of what happened, since the first version of "zum Damenhaus" appeared.

I can't stress enough to tell you that I'm deeply grateful to be able to do this stuff. I actually had a hard time before working on this project.

Poll result (What is your favourite position of a plantgirl?) and new cassandra poll

After 30 days of voting the poll is done and we now take a closer look at the results:

Plantgirls were the first monster girls which made it into the game. Actually the sweet, dominating plant wasn't my first choice. But the animal, which came alongside her, made the decision. (Because when creating bestial stuff, why not start with the classic wolf?)

Mmm, I see a pattern here... Could it be that you people are into bdsm? :> Anal is your favourite, I'm getting used to that now, but the next three positions contains some serious bondage. I should consider bringing some real bdsm content out earlier....

By the way, have you noticed the somehow cut arms in her anal animation? Originally there was something going on with her arms, while she rides the client. I tried some flash animation tools I haven't worked with yet, but the result was not what I expected.
I hope I can find the time to finish this animation.

Current status

While patrons vote on the next location (which includes a new monster girl and a new animal) I use this time to adjust some graphical parts of the game.
UI, like scrolling and zooming will be improved too, if I can make it until release.

Furthermore something else will be changed. Something that lots of people frequently requested.

Since I try to put as much small stuff into that version as I can, it will take a while to be finished. You can count on it at the end of december 2016.

Poll result (What is your favourite position of a slave?) and new plantgirls poll

After 30 days of voting the poll is done and we now take a closer look at the results:

Unlike the common assumption, the first kit of animations and drawings I did, started with the slave, and not with Amanda.
The very first animation I ever made actually was the vaginal slave position. The main thing you notice there, are the choppy movements of the single cut out parts.
Fellatio was number two I animated. And it was with that animation I found myself a technique, which made the movement perfectly smooth. I use this technique until today.

The tease animation was the first one, which I finished the quickest. Now I finish nearly every animation as quick, simply because of experience.

My personal favourites are fellatio, footjob, handjob and anal.

In the slave animations you may noticed the different looks of the clients head. There is no greater reason for this. I hadn't chosen one of them as a reference for a long time, back then. But now they all look to same, like it was intended to.

I'd like to point out, that the focus of the game won't be slaves. They just are the most common human whores I liked to work with first.

Patron version 1.9 released!

A love relationship in the workplace is strictly prohibited! Fortunately having sex with each other is still okay...


Hello and good afternoon friends,

get ready! Todays focus is all on the girls! Enjoy their show!

Updates:
  •  9 new animations: 
    • masturbation animation for every girl (*1)
    • girl on girl animations, for your VIP's (*2)  
  • 2 new dialogues
  • small stuff
Changes:
  • private show rooms have been changed in terms of functionality due to the additional animations for this type of room  
Bugfixes:
  • fixed bug, on which the pin board (tech tree) wasn't there on your HUD after reloading 
  • it's not longer possible to exploit unsaved flasks, after buying an upgrade and reloading. Sorry guys :p
  • the program now prevents you from starting the day if you only have Amandas or rather Madelines chamber. That means it's not longer buggy after finishing the first day
  • you can't click (but still hover over) girls anymore, which are on the way to a different room, since it caused some issues
  • if clicked in a specific order, the green frame around Amandas / Madelines / Cassandras chamber won't disappear, as well as the "go back button", until clicked said button
(all of these bugs are also fixed for the public 1.8 version!)

Known Flaw:
  • seldom only a few clients spawn and then none the whole day long
 Hints:
  • you don't need a wolf anymore to place girls in a private show room. To add a wolf to the show, simply click the assigned girl there if you have a kennel (and wolves) and you will get the option
  • you can not move a girl out of a private show room, if she is with a wolf 
  • letting the game run in a browser, while you are on a different tab in the same browser may cause issues
  • make sure that you allow flash to store data on your PC, since game functions depend on that!
  • 'likes' still apply on the girls, who can be seen in private show rooms

(*1) masturbation animation for every girl:
You now can assign girls to your private show rooms without a condition (the former wolf)
They then start to give a client a proper solo show.

(*2) girl on girl animations, for your VIP's:
Three certain dialogues now unlock four new animations.
If you just watched (or skipped) one of the dialogues a hint will pop up, telling you about
the disposability of the new unlocked animation.
Clients will pay double for seeing two girls playing on each other!
I wonder if there is somehow a way to make them pay triple... ;)


I was encountered with a complex new feature I needed to create. I never underestimate new additions again. However, I was rewarded with a very simple concept how you can enjoy the new animations without clicking a hundred times. So I guess "stacking" your VIP's is now a thing :D

It's for your advantage, to erase your old files and start a new game, since two new animations depend on one older dialogue. (Because dialogues won't reappear if you read through them once (or skipped them))

Status update

After finishing some critical main job work, I'll have the time to continue this update. I'm already done with about 40% of everything. This version definitely will take longer than the last two, but you can see forward to 9 new animations! (beneath bugfixes and other stuff of course). I don't want to spoil the surprise but I can say that these new animations will have something to do with the private show room.

Another polls (Animations vs CG's) results and slave's poll

The question was: What do you like more in an arousing video game?

After 30 days of voting the poll is done and we now take a closer look at the results:

284 people voted for:
  1. Animations: 184 (64%)
  2. CG's (Images): 11 (3%)
  3. Both of them: 89 (31%)
This vote was only for interest. I don't intend to do CG's, like I said before.
The numbers speak for themself. In all fairness, people came to this blog, because they somewhat like the game 'zum Damenhaus'. So it has to be expected that most of them would rather see animations in a sexy videogame, while 1/3 says, that they don't have any problem with CG's, too, in general.
Only 3% would prefer CG's over animations.

My vote would go to the majority: I like animations.


Time to set up the new poll: It's about the common human slave, like I announced a while ago.
If you find her in a room together with a client, which animation(s) you think is / are the hottest?
You get a multiple choice option yet again.

Patron version 1.8 released!

Good morning everyone,

such a nice sunday. I heard someone is in need to get his early fap material? Well, here you go!

 Updates:
  • the assigning function got an overhaul (*1)
  • girls are able to walk between rooms during the day (*2)
  • you can assign slaves / plantgirls to Cassandras room to help her researching
  • two new upgrades are available at Cassandras pin board
  • a more or less detailed profile for every character is available at your HUD
  • quite a lot of small stuff
  • Edit: Ending the day won't take your girls from their room back to the mansion. They now stay were you placed them before!
Changes:
  • clients walk cycle changed (don't know if I like it though...)
  • slaves lying resting pose in her chamber was removed
Bug fixes:
  • one of the dialogs was buggy. I fixed this one also for the public 1.7 version ( I do this to every version, when the bug might be game breaking)
  • fixed bug, on which your flasks sometimes won't be depicted after a dialog 
  • fixed bug, in which clients spawned after the day ended. This happend with your
    "recommendation" upgrade
Known flaws:
  • seldom only a few clients spawn and then none the whole day long
  • make sure you start with Amanda and with Madeline at the very beginning, otherwise it will certainly be buggy after the first day
Hints: 
  • you can only add girls to a private show room, if you have at least one wolf left in the kennel. (will be changed as soon as there are other animations for the pvt. room)
  • I want you to notice the option to buy an animalshow, since it's a bit hidden: If the day hasn't started yet, go to your brothel. Next to the elevators is a grey shade. Click it to buy the animal show
  • EDIT: to erase your current savegame click on the trash cans cap at the beginning screen

(*1) the assigning fuction got an overhaul:
Nothing more to say then that it's better now. 50% of the new assign works of stage; in the code:
In the past it worked like that: You clicked "assign" and every unused room responded, told you that you can place the girl in it. Now you click "assign", then a chosen room and after that it checks if the room is acceptable to place the girl in.

(*2) girls are able to walk between rooms during the day:
This was requested a lot. Now you have it! During the day, click a girl and let her move to a different room. It's not possible to move girls, who are on the surface.
Furthermore, you can't expect your girls walking through the halls fully naked. Unless... with enough reputation...


I should apologize for giving no release date. Every time when I have the feeling that a version will be relativly quickly finished, I get a little silent.

Patron version 1. 7 / Public version 1. 6 released!

Hello folks,

password for the download is 'randomcrow' like always.
And now let's get straight to the newest update for patrons:

Updates:
  • 5 new dialogs added, involving Cassandra
  • added a techtree for you to improve different things in your brothel, like cheaper slaves on the slavemarket, faster elevators and even a bar which runs without Madeline!
  • you can switch now from mansion to brothel by pressing 'spacebar' and vice versa
  • scrolling improved: the program now tracks if your mouse is outside of the application; no more fixed deadzones on the very edges of the application
Changes:
  • reduced elevator and clientspeed again because of the possible upgrades in the techtree 
  • reduced coins a client gives you for watching the animal show by 33% (it's now the
     same like the normal bar)
  • if you don't have plantgirls, clients won't ask for plantgirls anymore
 Bug fixes:
  • while paused, the elevator to the right didn't stop
  • selling slaves MAY have caused some issues. I fixed a bug, but I don't know it's exact impact
  • if some conditions for a certain dialog wasn't met, the game didn't offer an
    alternative for said certain dialog; left you behind with no dialog at all
  • additionally if you only had amanda (without Madeline) and go through a whole day, she won't appear in her room after clicking 'end day'
  • there was a double assignment bug a while ago. Last version I forgot to declare it as dead. Now I have.
Known flaws: 
  • sometimes a slave / plantgirl who comes right from the bar and went to the balcony stands there the other way around (same with her bed in a chamber)
  • it may occur, that the program tells that you have to assign a girl to a brothel room, since no other girl would be left, but actually you do have Cassandra. Since I will give the assignment part of the game a small overhaul soon, I'll let this flaw be for the moment
  • seldom only a few clients spawn and then none the whole day long
  • Edit: the new scrolling improvment shows some minor issues. Also it doesn't work while at the mansion (but scrolling per se works, of course) 
  • Edit: if you use your flasks to buy upgrades, it won't save your new, lower flask amount. Which is basically an exploit to get all of the upgrades after reloading your game again and again

Patron version 1.6 released!

Updates:
  • new side character available: Cassandra (1*)
  • fast forward button implemented (2*)
  • next to your reputation status is a number now, to make your current progress clearer
  • next to the price of certain rooms are indicators if said places are meant to be used for bestial "stuff"
Changes:
  • sending a client to a wrong room doesn't result in the lowest amount of coins anymore. Instead it works like a multiplier bonus. Here are a few examples:
    • you will get 80 coins if you have all 3 likes but a wrong room
    • you will get 80 coins if you have 2 likes and a stately room
    • you will get 60 coins if you have 2 likes and an average room.
    • you will get 200 coins if you have 3 likes and a luxurious room
These calculations have been done without your girls level. Then it would be more, of  course.

 Bug fixes:
  • whenever a slave laid hands on a client at the bar, she sometimes moved
    further down the stage
  • if the game was paused, slaves / plant girls who worked on the bar gave
    their special service to the clients nevertheless
  • if there were no standing spots left for the clients at the animal show, the fifth
    client who wanted to see it kept walking to the right
  • fixed bug, on which a client could loose patience while the game was paused
Known flaws: 
  • sometimes a slave/plant girl who comes right from the bar and went to the balcony stands there the other way around
  • it may occur, that the program tells that you have to assign a girl to a brothel room, since no other girl would be left, but actually you do have Cassandra. Since I will give the assignment part of the game a small overhaul soon, I'll let this flaw be for the moment
Hints:
  • you can only add girls to a private show room, if you have at least one wolf left in the kennel. (will be changed as soon as there are other animations for the pvt. room)

(1*) new side character available: Cassandra:
Cassandra includes all current needed drawings and animations. Unfortunately she is in terms of story and deep game play rather useless at the time being. You can only watch her getting loved very hard. Such a bummer!
With the next update she will be the one who is responsible for upgrades, extensions, improvements and inventions.

(2*) fast forward button implemented:
The fast forward button actually has some history. It was the very first thing which was ever recommended to be a feature in the game. Back then I thought it would be impossible to have one. But as soon as I started to work on a pause feature, I did some great work for a fast forward function, without my knowing; preparing it alongside.
Well, I'm glad I could pull this through and I am sure you are also very happy about it :)



The next update won't take as long as this one.
Since I haven't got any new version for the public I can at least give you a

At last I've got some enhanced information about Cassandra for you:


Cassandra

Her father once told her that she can become anything she likes.
So she became a whore.
But soon Cassandra shows interest in something different, called science. Even though she has little experience in it, she is already deep into character and keeps on creating and inventing stuff that seemed useless at first. But destiny smiles upon her; gifted her with luck, which made the most ridiculous ideas, become essential.
As soon as Cassandra heard of the opening of the Inn ‘zum Damenhaus’, and the need for a clever individual there, she knew she could do the two things she likes the most at one place: devote herself to science and getting laid. If it were up to her, both would happen simultaneously.
Cassandra promised Amanda to always try her best and keep on gathering knowledge, whenever she has time for it. But deep inside, she will stay a whore. And that’s not a problem at all for her.

zum Damenhaus: title explained

Greetings people,

I thought it would be appropriate to post a translation for all non german speaking persons out there. Along the way I clarify why I chose this title. 

"zum Damenhaus"

The english equivalent for the word "dame" would be "lady". Add the "n" and you have the plural of it: "damen".
If I today think of a "Dame" it would look something like this (picture to the left).
Quite old fashioned, right? However, the word is still in german use.

The last part "haus" simply translates to "house".
So you could say it's a house full of ladys.

If you run "zum" through a dictonary you usually get three results:
  • "for"
  • "for the"
  • "to the"
Sometimes "zum" can be indeed "for" as in "zum Beispiel", which means "for example".

The reason it has the meaning of two words is because "zum" is a short way to say "zu dem", which is a combination of a preposition and an article.

So what exactly is the meaning behind this word and "Damenhaus" in combination?
In this context it refers to an inn!
It's actually somekind of wordplay where a certain location plays a role.
If someone asks you where do you go and you say:
"I go to the train station."
In german:
"Ich gehe zum Bahnhof."
But the train station isn't actually a train station, but more of a bar with that name for example!

I hope that explained the nature of the title a bit.

I didn't want the game to have "brothel" in it's name. Even if it is a brothel simulator, this word is just to common for these types of game. So I sticked with a german title.
I checked "zum Damenhaus" around the internet and this combination of words isn't in use for anything special. That means the game can be found quick in the internet.

After 30 days of voting the poll is done and we now take a closer look at the results:

My personal favourites are vaginal, fellatio and footjob. Besides, I never vote on my own polls, thats your privilege.
Fun fact: Madelines vaginal position took me the longest time ever to animate! There is a lot of variation in it. And with every movement of either the client or her, the other one needed to keep the movement, too.

I expected fellatio, the 69 position, to be on top. It's a so beloved position in real live I thought no matter the quality of it, it will be the favourite. But this poll showed me again that penetration itself is still the best for you. I will remember that for another project for another time.

Madelines dialog appearance nearly changed. Actually the one you know was the first one I draw. After that I did the animations. I realized that her hair is longer and the chin quite sharp in the animations (most likley because I do the animations quite pixelated (That I started to change since 1.4).
I fixed her idle dialog drawings a bit, so it fits the animations. But I loved the original drawing so much that I decided to keep her the way she looks. And I don't regret it.


Normally I would follow with a poll for choosing your favourite position of the common slave.
But I have a different one for you. A question that burns in my soul since I released the very first version of this game. I will set it up after I upload version 1.6, the first one Patrons can try out before puplic can. That will be in 1 - 2 weeks.

I thank you for the interest in the game and the minutes, or even hours you may already have spend on it despite it's early alpha state.

It is never to late to suggest something if you got an idea.

Let's start the new month/week with an update, shall we?

Updates:
  • slaves and plantgirls who are working on the bar have a chance (depending on their service level) to give a client a little extra while enjoing his beer (reputation increases a little after)
  • added two more dialogs
  • increased slave saveslots from 10 up to 20
  • the closer you are to the next reputation level, the more the green star (which stands for it) fills up
  • made a NSFW warning when launching the game
  • 'crowfield' added at the startscreen which shows some special crows
Changes:
  • reduced gained experience for all girls in a private show room by 50%
  • changed the way dialogs appear (1*)
  • needed points to get a higher reputation for every phase have been balanced
  • adjusted some of the tutorial and dialog texts yet again 
Bugfixes:
  • often a client walked beneath another client, who is actually in front of him (layer issue) is now fixed
  • fixed bug when hitting the pause button while the day is actually over and then continuing the game again, clients keep coming nevertheless
  • plantgirls with long purple hair do appear in brothel rooms waiting/sitting again when placing them there
  • if you got no private show room, but you do have a kennel, the client showed you an empty room text instead of 'pvt. show'
  • clients don't want ponytails and short hair at the same time anymore, as well as with maledom and plantgirls
  • you should always be able to start the day. If you can't choose the bar/animal show since no other girl would be left, the programm now tells you more clearly than before (no fancy function though :/ )
  • fixed inconsistenty in the mid game reputation. It showed the wrong reputation name, while the calculation in the background was actually correct
  • fixed bug, when you place a room in your mansion in the bottom right corner, it appears on the bottom left corner after reloading
  • it is easier to assign a girl to the bar with just one click
  • I haven't recived any bug reports about the double assignment bug lately. But I still wait to tell that it is done. For everyone who's interested: Source was Amanda, like I guessed the very first time 
Known flaws:
  • sometimes a slave/plantgirl who comes right from the bar and went to the balcony
    stands there the other way around 
  • EDIT: whenever a slave lays hands on a client at the bar, she sometimes moves
    further down the stage
  • EDIT: a fast forward button will be developed soon
  • EDIT: the 'wrong room will get you only ~10 coins" issue will be balanced soon
  • EDIT: not a flaw, but an hint: you can only add girls to a private show room, if you have at least one wolf left in the kennel. (will be changed as soon as there are other animations for the pvt. room
  • EDIT: if there are no standing spots left for the clients at the animal show, the fifth client who wants to see it keeps on walking to the right



(1*) changed the way dialogs appear: 
If after the day none shows up, that means either you have seen them all or there are conditions left that you must fulfill beforehand.


This version should be the most playable version ever!

Important:
Version 1.5 is the last one, which is simultaneously available for Patrons and the public!
Which means version 1.6 will be the first one Patrons can try out before everyone else!
With every new version released, the last older one becomes public!

Madeline's poll

Greetings friends,

the second poll is ready for your votes! As announced it's all about Madeline.
You get a multiple choice option yet again and like last time I recommend choosing your favorite by your guts. This worked pretty well back then.

After the poll has finished I give you some of my thoughts about the character, the drawing / animation process, etc.
But I will keep my part shorter than last time, since I felt I gave you way to much details and the last thing I want is to bore you.

Another small Hotfix version 1.4.2 released!

I keep it short:
- fixed a bug, when pausing the game near the end of the day, and then continue the game again, the day never ends
- fixed a bug, where Madeline suddenly disappears instead of doing 'tease' to the client.

Poll result (What is your favourite position of Amanda?)

After 30 days of voting the poll is done and we now take a closer look at the results:

159 people with a multiple choice option voted for:
  1. Tease: 19 (11%)
  2. Handjob: 8 (5%)
  3. Footjob: 36 (22%)

Which brings the winner in this order:
Vaginal > Anal > Footjob > Fellatio > Tease > Paizuri > Handjob

I now give my thoughts on every position and how this poll will influence future animations.

1. Tease:
This one surprised me the most. Even though the characters don't touch each other (besides the foot on the shoulder) the numbers for this positon are far beyond zero. We can clearly see the dominance Amanda shows which fits the character.

2. Handjob:
The back light of everything. Dispite the hand movement I like here I have to admit that I fucked up the posture and some proportions of the client. Because of that I never used him as a reference for another animation. But I really like the dodge at the end :D

3. Footjob:
I thought this one would take the lead besides vaginal. Well, it nearly did. The footjob shows more than tease the dominance Amanda has over her client. I always liked that.

4. Paizuri:
Paizuri and Fellatio had a head to head race since the start of the poll. I knew from the beginning that these two will be the good middle of everything. Furthermore with the animation itself, I was very limited in movement, however it needs to happen since this kind of position is very common, even if it doesn't show Amanda's dominance that much (which should be always important for me, actually)

5. Fellatio:
A classic one. Dominance is a little short here, too. I need to get every female character better in her role. Well, if I re-think the overall position, there were a lot more which would fit better for Amanda. Something different I didn't really like: The flow of the cum. It's like water. Fortunately I improved much with drawing these liquids. What I liked? The spit at the end, when accidentally some of this stuff went in her mouth :)

6. Vaginal:
My favourite. It perfectly shows Amanda's personality like I wanted to have it. It was the first animation I did with her. The fact she ignores that the client is actually done and keeps on going is both funny and hot.

7. Anal:
I underestimated the power of anal! This position is the second best you like, even though I actually need to adjust the "camera", to give the POV a more downwards angle. This animation is 2D like the others of course, but it looks TOO 2D if you know what I mean. Overall I planned to give anal animations more love.


Please be aware, that the quality of the animations will raise over time, since I'm only human and drawing wasn't something I started with in primary school.

The whole survey was quite interesting for me and I hope the future ones will be, too!

I set up the next poll in about week and this one will then be all about Madeline.

Hotfix version 1.4.1 released

Thanks for bringing a bug to my attention, Jaered. The one time I haven't tested the right wing of the brothel... And suddenly a bug occurs.
But it's gone now:

- no more moonwalking and backsitting clients

Version 1.4 released!

AniMATE some wolves!

Get it? Because wolves mate? At best with your brothel girls!

 Updates:
  • added animal shows to the game. This lets you do follower things:
  • catch WOLVES in the forest (*1)
  • build a KENNEL in your mansion (*2)
  • extend your bar to add a place for your ANIMAL SHOW 
  • give clients PRIVATE SHOWS in special rooms (only bestiality at the moment)
  • you can sell wolves to get a few coins
  • you can zoom in one step further
  • and of course a lot of other small, semi-important stuff
Changes: 
  • if you want to send Amanda to a different location and you do have a kennel, then the programm won't hold you back anymore, if you haven't actually enough rooms for slaves (since you may search for wolves now)
  • it is not possible anymore to assign a client to a room by clicking the girl (Amanda or Madeline) (*3)
Bugfixes:
  • while in a dialog or the very last part of the tutorial, there is no HUD in front of Madeline anymore
  • in the tutorial, it's not longer possible to assign Madeline or Amanda, when first set up their chambers
  • there is decent chance I killed that double assignment bug (about 50:50). If I don't recive bugreports that include it, I declare the bug as destroyed
  • edit: I forgot another bugfix: in the very first reputation (unheard-of) clients spawned a little faster than intended
Known flaws:
  • currently it is possible to have no girls in a brothel room, but all of them are
    occupied in a different way; so you can't start the day. Instead of adding 1000 variables to the code, I'd rather work on a function to solve this Issue for the next version. (It's an easy task)
    So just be sure you add at least one girl to a normal brothel room
  • often the clients are walking beneath another client, who is actually in front of him ---> will be improved, when I found an effective solution 

(*1) catch WOLVES in the forest: 
I set the chance to encounter a wolf to 50% for the moment. The other 50% are of course the plantgirls.

(*2) build a KENNEL in your mansion:
You might wonder, why there is so much room left in the kennel. Well, wolves are not the only creatues you will be able to catch :)

(*3) it is not possible anymore to assign a client to a room by clicking the girl (Amanda or Madeline):
I have to admit, i don't like to take steps back, but this code is pretty long and the outcome in terms of gameplay is actually not that great. So I removed it.


Even if it sometimes looks like, that the pause button doesn't work, because of some animations continue playing, let me tell you, it definitly works! Don't be afraid of using it.

Prices for all rooms, girls, etc. are subject to change throughout the game's development.

Since patreons voted for more vaginal Amanda action, I extended the newest one a bit. You don't need to worry, this longer animation won't mess with the gamebalance.

Important: If you aren't into bestiality, the game will never force you to get animals to move ahead. Simply don't buy a kennel.


The next version I do will indeed have a few new animations, but the focus on that one lies on general clean up.

You will hear from me again in a few days, when the Amanda poll is done.

A titan has fallen...

I'm talking about our all time favourite game 'Breeding Season'. It has been shaken to the core and I don't know if it will rise again. You can read everything about it on their blog:

I feel like I have to say something about it.
'Breeding Season' was the greatest reason for me trying myself in game development, coding and artwork. And the message about it's sudden ruin has shocked me. Yes, they had problems beforehand, but nothing that would cause such a distinct destruction of a game that was a pioneer for future quality and fun porn games.

However, hope is far from lost and we might see a oak shake of it's burned bark after a raging inferno.

For me, it mean's that I need to double-check all my future decisions and be sure I learned something from others experience.

Teaser for upcoming version (1.4)

Hello there,

still two animations and all of the coding left!
I'm just here to let you know, that I keep on working, but it takes time. Don't count on a release within the next two weeks.

For the next update prepare yourself for more animations, an additional bar-like building, a close theme related chamber in your mansion and a close theme related brothel room beneath the surface.

As for a bonus I'll present you a mysterious creature roaming the forest.

Version 1.3 released!

They can talk, but only if you can read!

Greetings,

this update is rather small, but I allow it to be an independent one like the others, because the last version was very content heavy and the next one will be, too.

 Updates:
  • added in game tutorial (*1)
  • added dialogs (*2)
  • the second elevator (the one to the right) now also goes down. Clients, who have finished playing chess with the girls (yes, we keep it familiy friendly here) now will search for the exit in the basement, which is on the left
Changes: 
  • you won't get hold back by the system any longer, if you try to go to the slavemarket with not enough coins in your pocket
  • made the early reputations a bit harder to get
Bugfixes: 
  • fixed a critical bug since version 1.2, that no matter the reputation you have, only 7 clients in total will spawn
  • fixed bug, that whenever you press the pause button, it sets back the frequency of client spawning (solved it quite elegant). So you can now use it without any boundaries
Known flaws :
  • often the clients are walking beneth another client, who is actually in front of him ---> will be improved, when I found an effective solution
  • It seems like you can still seldom assign 2 girls to one room. If that happens, please restart the game (your savegame stays). I will find you, bug. And then I will eat you!

(*1) added in game tutorial: 
Be careful when using your old savegame and when the system asks, if you want to play the tutorial. Your coins will get to the same state, like if you would start a new game.

(*2) added dialogs:
There are 7 at the moment. One shows up every day after you got your results in.
If you met the necessary requirement, Amanda and Madeline start talking.
Dialogs will be on my always to-do list. The more content I add to this game, the more there is to talk about.


As I told you above, the next version will take longer than this one. But you can see forward to new functions, new animations and new rooms!

If you found any spelling mistake, I would be happy to hear it from you, since english isn't actually my mothertongue. Even if it is just a missing 's' after a verb or a wrong used preposition.

Polls and animation template

Good evening folks,

you may have noticed the poll on the blogs right side-bar.

I plan on doing more to get some interesting statistics in. These statistics will help me for future drawings and animations.

I first start of with your favorite poisiton of Amanda. You will have mulitple choices. Everything can be an aspect, like position, situation, behavior, graphical characteristics or maybe your favorite way seeing someone cumming.
I recommend deciding by your feeling; what you like watching the most.

In case you forgot how some animations look like, I have a position templet for you at the end
of this post. You may help yourself with it.

If the poll is done I tell you my favorite animations of her and I'm sure I can get you some
extra random information afterwards.

Version 1.2 released!

Hey there,

the time being occupied with this current version felt like an endurance test for me. And I passed!

Updates:
  • the forest section is ready for Amanda to explore. FOR NOW she'll only get a new slave type from there
  • plantgirls added to the game; including all the images, animations and variations (*1)
  • added a pause feature
  • in the client's 'likes' list wont be any attributes anymore, that would exclude each other (like for example: short hair <-> long hair)
  • you can now look at all the clients preferences, while they are in the queue, to plan ahead
  • while choosing a location for Amanda to travel, you can now recall her
  • if you leave the flash application, the background should stop scrolling (*2)
  • slaves are now holding an "open hair" attribute, which is the exact opposite to the ponytail quirk
  • slaves loading faster, when continuing a game
  • the game has been made a bit 'fullscreen' friendlier in general
  • tons of other small stuff, like new startscreen tipps, new quirks, switch of some indicator colors etc, etc, etc,...
 Changes:
  • 'ponytail' now has the 'long hair' attribute
  • all your girls gain double the experience points, when executing their labor of love (*3)
  • chance, a client will sit down to drink something has been reduced
  • sending a client to a room he doesn't want, will not influence your reputation to the negativ anymore
  • the punishment for dismissing a client has been reduced by 33%
  • the reputation you gain from a 'perfect client bonus' has been increased by 25%
  • nevertheless it will be much harder to get a higher reputation now, depending on which reputation you already have
  • the behavior of the client loving girls and drinking beer has been improved. This happens off stage, so you won't notice anything (It's more reliable now)
Bugfixes: 
  • critical bug fixed, which slowed the game down on longer game sessions. You don't need to reset every few days anymore
  • if you had exactly 500 coins the game won't let you go to the slavemarket, although you had the money for a slave. In addition, this question of letting the player go to a different location will now be asked while you are on the map (compass)
  • clients now spawn off stage
Known flaws :
  • the only elevator going down, slows the game down. I already found a decent solution. I continue working on it. This issue has my highest priority now
  • often the clients are walking beneth a other client, who is actually in front of him ---> will be improved at the next opportunity
  • currently the pause feature also resets the timer when clients spawn ---> will be improved at the next opportunity. So you should only pause when it's really necessary or directly after a client has spawned
  • edited: It seems you can still seldom assign 2 girls to one room. If that happens, please restart the game (your savegame stays). I will get to the bottom of this!
  • edited: currently you only get a static amount of clients, no matter which reputation you have! (bug is fixed and launches with version 1.3)
(*1) plantgirls added to the game; including all the images, animations and variations:
Later it will be more worth sending Amanda to other locations. I need to implement different stuff first. Also getting plantgirls won't cost you a thing for now, since they don't care about money at all. Later they will be buyable maybe for some kind of item? I will see.

(*2) if you leave the flash application, the background should stop scrolling:
I hope I didn't make the gaming experience worse. I need your feedback here.

(*3) all your girls gain double the experience points, when executing their labor of love: 
I do this for future updates, to fasten the overall gamespeed up.


In general, I am happy how reliable the client moves, also that he is smart enough to actually find the exit.

Also, for the future I will add some helpful information to the tutorial section of this blog, to help you guys (provisional), finding the right combos; for example:"What exactly is exotic hair?"

Furthermore I say that I haven't test older savegames for the current version. But there is actually a great chance that your savegame can be used for the new version. Feedback would be welcome.

At last I have some advanced information to the plantgirl:


The plantgirl (Flora slutus servus dominanta)

Habitated in various forests, plantgirls love traping and catching male hikers. If they have been sucessfull, they can keep them tied up for days and refresh themselves on the victim's seeds from time to time. After exhausting their nourishment source, they will let the poor human go, for the chance he will serve her another time.
Interestingly some men actually go back to her as a volunteer. Scientists claim, this behavior could be explained by some kind of spores the plantgirl excretes. Non-Scientists think, those people are just freakin' perverts.

However, since seeds (yes, I mean the human ones the whole time) are quite a dainty for the plantgirls, they will gladly help Amanda out with her buisness. But she needs to have an eye on them, because they always take what they want and they can often be very rough about it. Nevertheless, the clients will love them for their friendly, alluring arise and childish aura.

Teaser for upcoming version (1.2)


The owner of the Inn 'zum Damenhaus' has recently been seen with a strange figure on her side. Acording to rumors, there will be a new offer in this establishment. And said offer won't stand on the drinks menu, for sure.

We asked a random client, who just wanted to visit the location. He didn't even stop as we requested a statement from him, but at least he talked back with followed information:
"Out of my way, I want to get laid!"
It seems like it will stay mysterious. Currently only insiders, the so called 'Patreons' know the truth.

Short in between information

Good morning friends,

currently I am working on the project like a mad man. There will be a lot of new animations, pictures, functions, balance tweaks, performance enhancements and, and, and...
I steam ahead quit good. You can definitly count on a new update this month (also not the last day of it, but rather after mid of the month)

A sudden hotfix appears!

And it adds another 1 to version 1.1 which lets it evolve into MEGA VERSION 1.1.1!
Okay, without the mega. Unless you mean the download portal...

But seriously, here is the patch list:

Updates: 
  • you can now click the little symbol which indicates a waiting client for actual selecting him (*1)
  • improved zooming (*2)
  • key shortcuts added for zooming in (Q) and zooming out (E)
  • if you click 'assign' on a girl, you can now go back to your home without actual assigning her to a fixed room
  • your girls don't wait anymore till the last client has left the brothel. They have better things to do anyway.
  • amanda now trusts her staff enough to travel, without making sure that at minimum one girl is working in a love-room
  • you don't need to have a slave in a brothel room, when you first want one to serve in the bar
Changes:
  • increased scroll speed by 40%
  • increased elevator speed by 50%
  • increased client's walking speed by 33%
Bugfixes:
  • fixed a bug, when zooming in and out on special locations, it sometimes narrows down the background of your brothel / home

(*1) you can now click the little symbol which indicates a waiting client to actual select him:
Thats actual pretty funny. You may have noticed, that the little symbol was framed in red. But i wanted it in yellow, but it hasn't changed anything, despite the code I inserted. I released it teeth grinding. Well, now it works. That was a pretty little annoying thing.
Why yellow? I thought like: red = warning/danger,     yellow = "hell yeah, i'm ready!"

(*2) improved zooming:
*sigh* I have the feeling it will be a looong journey with the zooming and scrolling stuff. I fixed it a bit: less clicks for zooming, better performance... but i can't find out a good formular yet to make it... smoother.

Version 1.1 released!

Good afternoon everyone,

let's get straight to the point. Details will follow further below. Also you can now download the game here at the blog for free.

Updates:
  •  well, I programmed the goddamn game again, I guess that's an update
  • added a preloader (*1)
  • re-coded slaves (*2)
  • added a save feature (*3) 
  • slaves are able to serve at the bar (*4)
  • created a symbol for a waiting client (*5)
  • the service level of Madeline and slaves will be added to the general bar income
  • all floors in all buidings can now be used to set up rooms
  • offering a client a room/girl can now be done by clicking said girl (currently works only with Amanda and Madeline)
  • improved zoom function; especially for zooming out
  • scrolling diagonal with mouse is now possible
  • also a ton of other details you may notice or may not
 Changes:
  • you can switch between your home and the brothel via HUD symbol
  • you can now assign Madeline directly to the bar, instead of just letting her be if you want her to work there 
  • reduced daytime from 10 minutes to 5 minutes
Bugfixes:
  • Madeline's experience now rises with every client who visits the bar; as it was intended to


(*1) added a preloader:
Well, the game is yet to small for you to see the loader. But it is there.

(*2) re-coded slaves:
I assume you will never find out what exactly happend when you casually play the game.
Half of the time I spend was for the slave rework.
And it was worth it!
With this and other things I improved, I was able to save up nearly 50% of the whole games memory; the updates already calculated in. Of course, with a small game like this it is not that big of a deal.. yet. Think of the content I will add later!
Just a random fact which you won't see in the actual game you play:
In the first game at the very end, exporting it for testing took me about 4 minutes and 24 seconds.
I reduced this to 15 seconds.
That's why I redone it.

(*3) added a save feature:
I want to tell you more about it, but I feel I should make it short:

It works.

What it does is real time saving.
If you want to continue your game, just click the door at the beginning screen, like you would start a new game.
If you want to delete your current save game, click the trashcan's cap, which waits in front of the buidling.
Important: You can only save up to 10 slaves which you have bought. I add more slots during the next versions. I just want to check that everything is perfect for now.

(*4) slaves are able to serve at the bar:
If you want a slave working in your bar, make sure that Madeline runs it and there is at least one other character selling herself in a room.
Additional bar-related animations will follow.

(*5) created a symbol for a waiting client:
Now you can observe the work of your girls, without worrying missing a waiting client.
A discreet little symbol in the top right of your screen will tell you, when someone is waiting for his turn.


So, now that I have my game rework done, I finally can do content, content and more content.
Long hold ideas sticking in a small corner in my brain, freezing, squeezed together in a small gap.
They will be happy, if I free them. If you want to know their names, I'm afraid I can't tell you, but I wish there was a way.

Greetings friends,

I just want to let you people know that I'm spending as much time on the project as I can. Even now, when I have to deal with other annoying and private stuff. Also my main job needs the focus; for about a week.
Long story short: Don't await the new version within the next two weeks.

As for the current state of work:
Re-programing the slaves for the sake of memory takes as long as I was afraid of. There is no way to shorten things, but on the bright side, it is (now) an easy thing to do. It just lasts.

I won't give myself a deadline, though you may visit this blog soon, thinking "maybe today".

Hello gals and guys,

I am nearly finished with the re-code. Basically everything has worked 90% of the time like I wanted to. The other 10% also works, naturally, but I had to do a little more of a work around.

The last thing missing are the slaves. How and what will change with that in detail, I have to find out for myself first.

In addition, I will implement some new and improved content, so you don't have to play the exact same version like before. Which content I'm going to add? I will tell you on release of 1.1, but don't expect to much for now.

You will hear from me, when I'm done with the things mentioned above.

Good day folks and welcome to the blog!

The first version of “Zum Damenhaus” has been released and there is so much more to do. And the most important thing, decided spontaneously just a few days ago, is:
Program the whole game again from scratch! Yay!
But let me explain: The crucial reason for this was the missing preloader. I plugged the game, so I’m never able to create one. However, this comes with great opportunities. While I coded the game, the beginnings were only simple structured. As I grew in experience, I could do better, more effective things. As for a few examples:
- improve slave’s data volume. There is a technique to save about 80% of it!
- improve client’s pathfinding and individuality
- improve zooming and scrolling

Sooner or later any game programmer will rewrite huge parts of the script, since he can make his creation much more effective later times. Well, for me it is right at the beginning.
While I’m at it, you will hear from me. Until then I will use my ENTIRE free time making a stable and reliable base of the game, on which adding content is as easy as you can imagine.
